Full Spectrum  12x17" Pastel
This is my interpretation of a friends property out in the country,
peaceful, joyful, nature at its best.

"Waiting" 11x14" Pastel
This painting was inspired by my friends studio/dining room in
her  Oregon home. It radiated with inspiration and creativity.
(The cat I added later to replace a chair that was in that spot.)

The Guardian 11x14 Oil
Invited to participate in the Torrey Pines Art in the Pines Plein Air
Competition  and Exhibition, New to Torrey,  I was looking for the ideal
subject  and location. The sun suddenly lit up the hillside and drew my
attention to this beautiful tree overlooking the ocean.

Juicy Trio
9x12 Oil
Captivated by this inspiring fruit, fress off the vine,
I decided to  emphasize their shape by using backlighting
with cooler foreground shadows.

Luminescence
8x10 Oil
Inspired by the movement of water and wanting to capture the color
spectrum that I have often experienced  as the sun was setting  on the
horizon, I translated this precious moment into what my eyes had remembered.
